Today is day 1 of 1001. And I must say, it is not a very energetic start. I slept far later than I meant to, and the skies outside are just so gloomy. I’m a fan of rain and Autumn and all of that, but it does not inspire a call to action by any means. It makes me want to curl up with a good book and some tea and just veg.

I have stumbled upon a marathon of The West Wing, which is one of my favorite shows of all time. This is both amazingly wonderful and extremely dangerous. There is a high probability that I will sit in front of this t.v. for as long as this marathon is on and do absolutely nothing else.

101 Things in 1001 Days: Day -7

Starting on November 1st, I’ve decided to try the 101 Things in 1001 Days Project. Details can be found over at Day Zero. I came across it at an old friends blog and it seemed interesting.

I’m sure it’ll be hard. I’ve never really sat down and made any goals for myself, and so making a list of things to be completed in 1001 days is pretty big for me. Some of them are silly things, (make a gingerbread house, pretend I’m a tourist in my city) but regardless of how many I do or don’t complete, it’s going to be a rewarding experience.
